Rev. Zachariah Burgdorf
Pastor
On the Twelfth Sunday after Trinity 2021, Rev. Burgdorf was installed as Pastor of First Lutheran in Ely, and at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Babbitt.
He received his M. Div. from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne IN, and his B.S. in Physics from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla MO.
Rev. Burgdorf and his wife Claire were married in 2019 and the Lord has blessed them with three sons. They love camping and spending time in the woods.
Along with his duties as pastor, Rev. Burgdorf is a volunteer firefighter and avid runner.

Irene worked as a musician in New York in its heyday, the 1970s and 80s. She serves as the Music Director and organist for First Lutheran.
