The Bible describes people according to their job or occupation. I’ll give you a portion of a Bible text as a hint. Can you tell what “Occupation” is being described? I’ll include a Bible verse also… if you need help. By the way, I’m using an English Version Bible.

1.    “A day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a

       _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _  in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

                                                                                                   Psalm 84:10

2.   “Simon and Andrew his brother were casting a net into the sea for they were

        _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ .                                                                  Matthew 4:19

3.     “A man named Demetrius, a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ , made shrines of Artemis.”

                                                                                              Acts 19:24

4.     “I am the good _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . I know my own and my own know me.”

                                                                                              John 10:14

5.     “Ezra… was a _ _ _ _ _ _ skilled in the Law of Moses that the Lord God of Israel had

given…for the hand of the Lord his God was with him.” Ezra 7:6

6.     “They bound Jesus and led Him away and delivered Him over to Pilate the

          _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ .                                                                     Matthew 27:2

7.      “Then bring near to you Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the people of Israel, to serve me as _ _ _ _ _ _  .”           Exodus 20:1

8.      “Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, why are you weeping?’ Supposing Jesus to be the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ , she said to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where

you have laid Him.”                                                   John 20:15

9.      “The _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head.”

                                                                                             John 19:2

10.  “Paul, an _ _ _ _ _ _ _ of Christ Jesus by the will of God according to the promise of

the life that is in Christ Jesus.”                                   2 Timothy 1:1

For extra credit. A follower of Jesus was called a “disciple.” A disciple who witnessed Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection was called an Apostle. Let’s see if you can name Jesus’ 12 apostles.

 _ _ _ _ _ , who is called Peter, and _ _ _ _ _ _ his brother, _ _ _ _ _ the son of Zebedee and _ _ _ _ his brother; P_ _ _ _ _ and B_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ; T_ _ _ _ _ and M_ _ _ _ _ _ the tax collector; J_ _ _ _ the son of Alphaeus, & T_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ; S_ _ _ _ the Cananaean, & J_ _ _ _ Iscariot who betrayed Him.                                Matthew 10:2-4
